Cruising through the 50s
March 16-20, 2026 - Royal Caribbean
Los Angeles-Catalina-Ensenada-Los Angeles
We are planning a couple of gatherings for 2026. First, a four-night cruise from Los Angeles to Catalina and Ensenada in the spring, and second, a fall get-together for a luncheon or dinner in the Los Angeles area (details are being massaged). We don't expect everyone will be interested in both of these events, particularly if you need to travel a significant distance back to our old Los Feliz/Silverlake/Echo Park stomping grounds. But we're also mindful the aging process and we've already lost so many friends so we figure, let's appreciate each other now, with more opportunities to connect and hang-out.
We've selected Royal Caribbean's Catalina & Ensenada 4 night cruise (call the 800 number, listed below, to actually book) sailing on March 16-20, 2026. As a group, Royal Caribbean will give us our own JMHS tables for meals and access to spaces reserved for our group use, in addition to all the standard amenities on the Navigator of the Seas.
We have qualified as a group so we will enjoy the assorted benefits and privileges that entails. You can join our group, up until the last month or so, at which point we provide the list of people dining together to Royal Caribbean, but from here on out the price is no longer guaranteed and will reflect demand - so, when booking, you might ask what cabin categories offer the best deal ...and booking sooner is likely to get you a better price.
Cruise rates are all-inclusive (taxes & fees included). You can take a cruise and spend no additional money (...although they will give you plenty of opportunities to spend more!); cabin rates do not include gratuities and parking. Also not included are purchases from ship stores or items of a personal nature, such as medical services, laundry services, spa treatments or salon services, etc.PLEASE check with your cellular provider regarding service in Mexico; it's included with many carriers although data speeds may be slower. Wifi on the ship is very limited and slow (hey, you're cruising! relax!) but, if you must, you can buy more for a big upcharge.
Cruise prices change FREQUENTLY but the current prices on the balcony and interior cabins are approximately:
Interior cabin: $950 - double occupancy, including taxes and fees (under $500 per person).
Balcony Cabin: $1555 - double occupancy, including taxes and fees (under $800 per person).
Our group number is: 8135374
Our group name is: JMHS7071
